Tapes of Ground Zero Mosque Imam Defending Osama, Extremist Islam

Original article here.

Imam Rauf's Newly Discovered Explosive Audio Tapes

Steve Emerson has unearthed 13 hours of audio tape of Imam Rauf. Emerson and his team of investigators has spent the past four weeks going through the newly found material. Rauf  is a "radical extremist cleric who cloaks himself in sheep's clothing."
Among the shocking revelations Emerson's team will reveal next week -- they found Rauf:
Defending wahhabism - a puritanical version of Islam that governs Saudi Arabia
Calling for the elimination of Israel by claiming a one-nation state, meaning no more Jewish State.
Defending Bin Laden's violence
Demonstrating that there is a lot more to this man than merely a cleric.
The American public now sees the "deception perpetrated by all these Islamic groups that claim they are against violence and terrorism and insist that their rights be respected but in reality are fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood."

Emerson states there is "definitely fraud involved in the entities that Rauf created in the last decade that are co-mingled." Emerson took it to the IRS, who said, "you have a case."

There is intel that the shady developers, the Gamal brothers, will be going to radical Islamic organizations to serve as connectors -- CAIR,  MPAC -- so that they do their bidding for the money.

The mosque "is going to be a magnet for radicals." Emerson is not opposed to the building of mosques. He is "opposed to the building of radical mosques."  ......"Unfortunately 80% of the mosques in the United States are controlled by the Wahhabists. That's the reality. No one wants to admit it. They're the ones that attract terrorists."

Steve Emerson, head of the Investigative Project, has created a much-needed resource on Islamic terrorism in the USA here. Read this, explore the mosques and understand the fights being waged by concerned Americans against Muslim Brotherhood beachheads under the guise of mega mosque construction.

EDIT: Here's some of the tape...

Childhood Abused Linked to Gayness-Study

Original link here.

Interesting article covering what a lot of us might know already. The most interesting thing for me, is the low % of gays relative to straights, whereas the stereotyped percentage of population is around 10%, this study only found around 1.4% identified themselves as gay or bisexual, but interestingly,  2-3% claiming same-sex relations. Goes to show how artifically inflated that 10% might be, and why wouldn't it? There is an undeniable political element to gay organisations, what better way to get people to take you more seriously if they think you constitute a larger proportion of the population?

A study linking childhood abuse and attraction to the same sex does not mean homosexuals are "made rather than born", a gay rights group says.

The New Zealand Mental Health Survey by the University of Otago in Christchurch has found that people identifying themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual or having had same-sex encounters are more likely to have experienced events such as sexual assault and violence in the home as children.

But national advocacy group Rainbow Wellington says it should not be assumed that people become attracted to the same sex as a result of those traumatic childhood events.

"Although I have no doubt that the religious right will leap to the conclusion that this goes to show conclusively that homosexuals are made rather than born, I don't think that's the conclusion you could draw," said chairman Tony Simpson.
"Most of the research I have seen suggests that you are, in fact, born into a particular orientation."
Associations between those groups and adverse events were found for sexual assault, rape, violence to the child, and for witnessing violence in the home. Other adverse events, such as sudden death of a loved one, serious childhood illness or accident, were only slightly associated with non-heterosexual identity or behaviour.

"People who either identify themselves as homosexual or bisexual, or have had a same-sex encounter or relationship, tend to come from more disturbed backgrounds," Associate Professor Wells said.

The study questioned 13,000 people aged 16 and over on mental health issues. Ninety-eight per cent of the respondents identified themselves as heterosexual, compared to 0.8 per cent identifying themselves as homosexual, 0.6 per cent as bisexual and 0.3 per cent as "something else".

Experiencing a same-sex encounter was more common than identifying as either homosexual or bisexual. Nearly 2 per cent reported they had been in a same-sex relationship, while another 3 per cent reported having experienced a same-sex encounter.

Family First spokesman Bob McCoskrie said there should always be concerns around the possible outcomes of childhood abuse.

Blue-Collar Workers Won't Build Ground Zero Mosque

Video lifted, with permission, from the excellent Vlad Tepes Blog.

Its a refreshing sign that the people of New York are countering the forces of Islamic triumphalism, not through depending on their [weak] government and laws, but through their own means and actions.

Gay Bar Planned Next Door to Ground Zero Mosque

Original article here.

Fox News Host Announces Plans for Muslim Gay Bar Next to Ground Zero Mosque

Photo by Haley Cohen.Important news in the annals of publicity stunts today, as Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld announced on his blog—the truly unfortunately named “Daily Gut”—that he has aims to open a Ground Zero–area gay bar catering to Muslim men in the space next to a proposed mosque. “As you know, the Muslim faith doesn't look kindly upon homosexuality, which is why I’m building this bar. It is an effort to break down barriers and reduce deadly homophobia in the Islamic world,” the Red Eye host wrote, identifying the bar’s raison d'être. “After all, the belief driving them to open up their center near Ground Zero, is no different than mine.” Ahem.

Gutfeld insists, multiple times, that he is “dead serious on this one,” and announces that he has “spoken to a number of investors” about the project. (For what it’s worth, Red Eye’s Andy Levy corroborates Gutfeld’s earnestness.) Reactions to the proposal have been mixed. Mediaite’s Jon Bershad, for instance, characterized the idea as “brilliant,” explaining, “just because I support Muslim Americans in their fight against anti-Islam prejudice, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get a few dings for their religion’s own prejudice against homosexuals.” The conservative Hot Air blog, itself against the construction of the Ground Zero mosque, provides a helpful gloss: the gay bar is, metaphorically, a mosque equivalent. According to the site, both the bar and the cultural center “needlessly [inflame] cultural tensions in the ostensible service of liberal values” and both “celebrate tolerance regardless of the sensitivities of the surrounding area.” In any event, the stunt will certainly put Gutfeld on the map, if not, necessarily, his Muslim gay bar.

NZ Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

Soldier Tim O'Donnell killed in Afghanistan

'He was a bloody good bugger'

By JONATHON HOWE and MICHAEL FORBES

The family of a Kiwi soldier killed in Afghanistan says they are numb following his death.
Lieutenant Tim O'Donnell, 28, was killed when his three-vehicle patrol was attacked with explosives, rocket propelled grenades and gunfire in north-east Bamiyan Province overnight.

Two other soldiers, Lance Corporal Matthew Ball and Private Allister Baker, suffered serious injuries but are expected to survive. A local interpreter with the patrol was also hurt.

At a press conference at Linton Army Camp today, Mark O'Donnell said his son - honoured for his valour during a skirmish in East Timor - had wanted to be in the army since age four.

Mr O'Donnell said he talked to his son before he left for Afghanistan.

He said to be brave ''but not dead brave''.

''I told him I wanted him to come home. He just laughed and patted me on the back.''
Lieutenant O'Donnell's uncle Barry O'Donnell said the Government should not ''turn tail and run'' because of one casualty.

''I don't think you can go into these ventures without thinking there is going to be casualties, and as soon as there is one, change your mind and run away.''

Mark O'Donnell said the army had a job to do in Afghanistan.

''It would be a waste of Tim's life if we pulled out now.''

The family were feeling numb, with the devastation expected to set in over the next few days, he said.
Condolences from the Prime Minister and high ranking military officers had helped ease the pain.

Host of Top Gear Makes A Burka Crack

Original article here.

Gotta love Top Gear, even if you don't like cars.

Jeremy Clarkson joins burka debate

Jeremy Clarkson has provoked a flurry of complaints after telling Top Gear viewers he saw a woman wearing a G-string and stockings beneath her burka.

Jeremy Clarkson joins burka debate
Clarkson's comments came after both France and Belgium announced earlier this month that they are introducing bans on veils Photo: BBC

The episode, which was broadcast on Sunday night and featured guest appearances from Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, was watched by more than six million people.
Clarkson, along with co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May, had been discussing how drivers are distracted by female pedestrians.

He said: “This is an important bit of news, I really want to bring this up. People imagine that the most dangerous time of the year to drive is November or perhaps February - dark nights, fog, ice.

“But we were talking about this the other day and we think the most dangerous time to drive a car is round about now. Sunny skies, light breezes, girls wearing short skirts, because the thing is, you can't not look. You can't physically not look."

Hammond then said: “You can physically not use your mobile phone and it's easy not to drive home when you've had 18 pints of lager. But when you're driving along and a girl walks past, you have to look.

"Actually, do you not think that here, there is actually a case for the burka? Because then the problem would go away.”

Clarkson replied: “No, no, no. Honestly, the burka doesn't work. I was in a cab in Piccadilly the other day when a woman in a full burka crossing the road in front of me tripped over the pavement, went head over heels and up it came, red g-string and stockings. I promise that happened. The taxi driver will back me up on that.”

By Monday morning, seven viewers had already contacted the BBC to complain. Several viewers posted messages criticising the comments on Twitter, including Lily Allen, the singer, who called his remarks “distasteful”.

NZ Needs to Keep Secret Tech From China, Says US Expert

Original link here.

Johnny Dissidence:
Articles like this interest me a lot, because in this era of cheap Warehouse goods, we don't truly appreciate the real cost of buying cheap Chinese imports: Our own industries and jobs. You can observe the massive migration of job and industry in the USA especially; the biggest consumer nation in the world has all but lost most of its major industrial capacity.

The reasons goods are so cheap in China is because of several things: The very low wages for employees, the lack of a proper welfare state and the lack of scruples of a lot of Chinese businesspeople. When you pay for a more expensive US/New Zealand made product, you're paying the social welfare costs that come with it.

Another downside to importing heavily from China is the insistence of Chinese to effectively "steal" the business models/ideas/processes/innovations of foreign entities operating on their soil; it forms a sort of tax for the privilege. China essentially acts like a big sponge, but the life blood of other (especially Western) nations are being soaked up. Indeed, maybe more Chinese will be employed, but that doesn't exactly benefit us in the West if it means our jobs are the ones going. It also means the investment in infrastructure and "trickle-down" effect of company profits and taxes is not benefiting the people as much, if at all.

Unfortunately, there's very little that can be done by the average person, except shunning Chinese products. But the low price label is a heavy attraction to consumers, and until people decide that that is not enough to warrant buying Chinese made goods, it'll be up to innovative businesspeople or even the State to take up a semi-protectionist stance on the imports, and even that has its own problems.
